As you already have 116 AL vs. physical, and the knight's insignia only applies the -3 to physical damage (ditto for the superior absorption rune), it's basically overkill.

Do you replace Absorption with a Vitae rune or something? I haven't changed my warrior's rune setup since NF, apart from switching superior weapon runes out for minors.

I am too cheap to switch to Elonian armor, so Gladiator's (Radiant) it is. It's not a bad overall choice, but I find myself wanting the extra health from survivor's or elemental armor from dreadnaughts sometimes.

I have a set of Sentinel's, a set of Dreadnought's and a set of Gladiator's.
It's best not to limit yourself, and whilst on it's own Sentinel's is poo-pooed as being the "Sundering of insignias", as part of a flexible inventory, it's essential.
Thom knows my Dragon Slash build, and Sentinel's works perfectly there.

Got a set of kurzick berzerkers (survivors) 15k kurzick glads (radient) and a set of old pigmail (dreads). And helms for hammers, axes and swords. Got some old tyrian stonefists, an ascalon helm and an old pair of knights boots too. Kept it for sentimental reasons
The glads is for pvp, and I usually use the berzerkers in pve unless I know its a heavy elemental area. The glads is a good all round choice, though depending on how you play you may not miss the energy much. In pve, a zealous and triple chop or hundred blades is all the energy you need.

Sentinels is at 7k because of farmers. Just like with every other rune that is expensive is directly linked to farming builds.
At 13 str you get a 20 duration and +40 armor dolyak sig.

That always makes me laugh when it's just soooo much cheaper to buy a full set of ready-to-roll Sentinel's from Kaineng.
Excluding materials costs, a full set of Sentinel's from Cantha will cost 7,500 gold; that's as much as just one Sentinel's insignia in Elona...

I can not for the life of me understand why so many people use glads/radiant armor for PvE play? Where are these high energy builds coming from and what are they?
I always use Dread's unless I am running a strength build.
Most of my warrior builds use adrenaline, and even the ones I consider to be fairly high energy, I manage quite well without the extra EP...

The only thing I can think is that the majority are Mending Wammos Livingston
Just out of curiosity, if most of your builds are adrenaline-focussed, how come you're using Dreadnought's over Sentinel's?
Are you using Tactics for "Watch Yourself!" and Riposte?

Dreadnoughts when using anything, except for spider farm where the extra defense vs elemental is meaningless, then I have glads (sentimental mostly, don't need the energy).
Except when using a high strength build, but then I'd have to get the sentinal from a mule.
Ow yer and in the deep I use the +health armor and a tactics build (with only a major rune as opposed to superior I use everywhere else), so that the degen and such don't hit me as bad. Or I try at first with the dreadnoughts armor and superior rune until I get dp at which point I switch.
Looking at what has been posted before I think I got the basics of armor sorted :P
EDIT
To above poster: Yes usually running with 8-10 tactics for watch yourself and maybe shields up (if the area is heavy on ranged), lion's confort or heal sig. Don't use ripostes, love my cleaver too much

I have all of these little rules that I make for myself with my warrior (my main), as I think that the game is way too easy.
Thus I usually solo with my warrior and I refuse to play a W/M, as I believe it makes soloing pointless (challenge wise). As such, healing signet is usually my only life line, thus I want it pumped up as much as possible. Even when I do have henchies/heroes, I like to be as self sufficient as possible. I also don't like Dolyakâs as I detest moving slow, though I usually use it anyway when I'm wearing sentinels.
Otherwise it's for "Watch Yourself" and "To the Limit" when I'm Dragon Spamming.
But yeah, it's a very rare occasion that I'm not wearing Dread's or Sentinels, and Glads ever leaves me clueless. I do still have a set, but I really only use it when I'm experimenting with energy skills, especially concerning my secondary profession.

Sentinels is awesome for a pure dragonslash build. Everything else out comes the glad.
